Welcome to the fifth edition of Vubridge Expert Kit. As is our wont, we provide you with a dozen themed deals. These are on Timing and Control in this edition, some of which are variations on a humble finesse.

Too easy? Don’t be so sure about that! You'll have to be in the right hand at the right time to make these contracts, so entries will be a consideration. Be careful, as one or two of these deals have carefully concealed traps for he unwary.

The remaining eight hands, as ever, are all on counting the hand. Once more, you have a partial count on the hands, so you have an odds play in the endgame rather than a sure thing. As in Issue #4, we are looking at empty spaces to guide us….
