Editorial by Paul Bowyer
Welcome to the seventh edition of Vubridge Expert Kit. As ever, we provide you with a dozen themed deals split into two series. In this edition we focus on suit play, where you are challenged to make a variety of suit contracts. Some of these may look simple and, in truth, looks may not be that deceptive – but the hands have all been played before and many have fallen at the first hurdle. To succeed all you have to do is to Count, Plan and Execute. Easy enough, eh?
The first series is probably a little easier than the second, but we think you’ll enjoy them both.
The remaining eight hands, as ever, are all on counting the hand. For the second time we are looking at counting the points. Just where are those missing honors?
The Correct use of Trumps - Part I
This series, part 1 of 2 in this issue, is all about the best way to use your trumps.
Some hands require special timing, some a little technique.
The Correct use of Trumps - Part II:
Building up on the knowlege from the previous (above) series.
