No sequence against suit contracts by linda j green

What is the best strategy on a lead against a suit contract when we do not have a sequence? KJ62 or Q765 or J842 or K1073 or 10874.

In the long run, it works out best to lead from suits headed by the King or Queen than from the Jack and lower holdings. Some teachers prefer the reverse and lead from lower holdings. Everything depends on listening to the bidding as a guideline. Of course if partner bids, you have no problem.

Let's see what to do on the following hands?

A: 9. When you hold very few HCP, try to find partner. Hearts were bid by the opponents. Partner did not overcall 1. Therefore leading a short suit in the other minor might find partner with length, who will have the entries to hopefully set up that suit.
