School bullying is much in the news, but it isn't the only kind of bullying. Are you aware of the deep-seated culinary bullying of -- SPAM? People are almost embarrassed to have it in their checkout cart at the grocery. BUT! This isn't so around the world.

In the UK, Spam is battered, deep-fried and served with mushy peas and thick-cut French fries. Hawaii? Something called Spam Musabi. Picture crispy Spam, topped with rice and nori (seaweed) and served resembling sushi. How about Puerto Rico? Spam is chopped fine with Velveeta (or Cheese Whiz) and canned pimentos, and unapologetically spread on white bread.
