Remember McGruff, the Dog who told us to "Take a Bite out of Crime?" This day in 2014, John Morales, the actor who played McGruff, started a five-to-nine year jail sentence. Seems he was arrested with 1000 pot plants and a huge stash of weapons, including a grenade launcher. Guns and grass? No "Good dog" cookies for him!
