A: 3♥ - There is no reason not to lead your partner's suit with a fit and an ugly suit of your own.

With 3 cards, you need to lead a low one, to show length. If you lead the 8, your partner will think you have a doubleton.

Leading the King of Spades as some people like to do is wrong. Imagine if declarer has Q-x-x in Spades, you would give him a Spade trick, while on the lead of a low card he would never make a trick there.
