A: ♣J - A Club lead isn't dangerous, even though it's declarer's suit.

Dummy will be very weak, usually with only three Spades. Leading a trump would only help declarer take a finesse he might not have been able to take otherwise, due to a lack of entries. A Club won't give anything away.
